The three step formula for when you need to clear your mind: pause, Angels, breathe. Whether it’s a hectic day with no stops or you have anxious thoughts cropping up, sometimes we need a break. First thing to do when you notice this is to pause. Right after, call in your Angels. Lastly, focus on your breath. Yep, pay attention as you take three to four big deep, breaths. Focus on breathing in, holding that breath and releasing. Then for a minute more, continue to breath naturally and focus on breathing in and out. If it’s a hectic day, you’ll be surprised at how that reset helps. If you are having anxious thoughts, then you may find you need to do this for a little longer.
So, how do you ask your Angels for help? Try this phrase: “Guardian Angels, I call upon you now for help with clearing my mind (I have had a busy day/I’m feeling anxious). Thank you.”.
Keep in mind we are not praying to them, but asking for help. If you believe in a higher power, by all means you can add that in. The more you use this technique for a brain break, you’ll find it easier to do.
